At Ease with the Dead

At Ease with the Dead, an anthology of supernatural fiction from Ash Tree Press, has just come out, with 30 stories by some of the best contemporary writers of the ghost story. (I have a story in it, too–“The Admiral’s House.” I’m excited and honored to be in such company.)

I love to read the story titles in the tables of contents for such volumes. They make up an ominous little poem, enigmatic, evocative phrases promising terror. Here’s the TOC for At Ease with the Dead:
